AUSTRALIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM

Australian Higher Education

Australian tertiary education offers a range of courses at world-class universities and other higher education institutions programs leading to Bachelor degrees and a range of postgraduate awards. Universities also offer some shorter undergraduate programs. Universities normally operate over two semesters and the academic year begins in mid to late February and ends in November. More recently, summer sessions have been offered to provide greater flexibility for both universities and students and to enable earlier completion of degree programs.
