INVESTMENT LINKED BUSINESS VISA

Australia offers a range of Business visas designed to attract successful business people to settle permanently in Australia and develop new or existing businesses. Most business migrants to Australia are granted a Business Skills (Temporary) Australian visa for four years. After maintaining your investment or business in Australia, you will then be eligible to make an application for either the Investment Linked or the Business Skills (Australian Permanent Residence) visas.

The following is a brief summary of the two-stage process for obtaining an Investment Temporary Visa and then converting that into an Investment Permanent Visa. Note that if you choose to go into business in Australia instead of making an investment, then you may also be eligible for the Business Owner Permanent Visa at Step 2 below.
